Today our church is still thriving with an admittedly small but very active congregation. We our now also linked to the parish of St Philip and St James Scholes, Cleckheaton, Scholes church was in fact the daughter church of Whitechapel and was built in the late 19th century under the auspices of the then incumbent of Whitechapel. Our present incumbent is Rev. M.A.McLean MA (Maggie), with associate priest Rev.R. Cave.
We hold services every week with :-
- Sung Eucharist at 9.15am Sunday morning
- First Sunday in the Month Choral Evensong 3.30pm
- First Wednesday of the Month said Holy Communion 9.30am
- Teddy Bears group for pre school children also meets first Wednesday
- Third Sunday in the Month is Family Eucharist with Baptism Celebration
- The Church is open to receive visitors on the first Saturday of the Month from 9.30am to Noon
